Happy Birthday Grandma

My Grandma O. would have been turning 90 today. She passed away back in the spring. We miss her and love her.

Two of Many

Lately we've been hearing a lot of words out of Simon. Don't let the video fool you, he doesn't actually know his colors. He likes to call everything either blue ("boo") or yellow ("yewooow?"). The sauce he is talking about is apple sauce. Pretty much anything from a bowl is called sauce. My new favorite is how he's learning to use thank you. He'll hold out something he wants me to take and says "thank you!"

Fun at Wheeler Farm

We went to Wheeler Farm on Saturday with Georgia, John, and Johnny. Though we were a little disappointed we didn't get to pick our pumpkins from a real pumpkin patch, the boys had a blast running around.

The boys were being silly together at dinner, I couldn't get a good picture with both looking, but I got a good one of Johnny smiling.

Cabin and Football

We spent conference weekend up at the cabin. It was nice to get away and keep our minds off things and listen to the great speakers. I only took one picture, but I thought it was a good one. My Dad spent a lot of time playing with Simon. They had a good time together.

Simon loves all sports. Lately he's loved playing with this football. It's a full size Cowboys football so it's funny to watch him lug it around and throw it across the house because it's about half his weight and size.

Chasing "Duts"

Simon doesn't feed the ducks, he chases them. Here he is standing very still so they come real close before he makes his move.

He tried sneaking up doing this crawl tactic, but the ducks didn't buy it.

He never seems to get frustrated that he never catches one. He just loves to chase after them pointing and yelling "DUT!"

Boys Night

Ryan took Simon to the BYU game yesterday while I went up to Salt Lake to watch the Relief Society Broadcast with my Mom (President Monson's talk was awesome). Ryan says Simon did a lot of cheering and was happy through the whole game.
