I Have to Wait 'Til When?

I had my second doctors appointment yesterday. Everything looks great! This baby has a lot of energy and loves to move. The doctor kept trying to find the hearbeat without using the ultrasound, but this baby would not stay put. So I got to have another ultra sound and I got another little picture as well. My due date was bumped up to June 14th. So it looks like we have to wait a bit longer to meet little "Fearghus" (a name lovingly given to "him" by Ryan).

The Elk Hunt

This past weekend Rich took us elk hunting. I have never actually hunted with a rifle before. I've only shot rifles lying in prone position with a good 30 seconds to take aim and fire. Hunting is quite a bit different. I got 2 shots at elk and missed them both. There is a reason we hunt with shotguns in the south. We saw about 50 elk and got close in on a couple groups. Elk are suposed to be so hard to hunt because you can never find them. Good thing I have Rich to guide me to where they are in the woods. Now all I need to do is learn to shoot!

Anything to Graduate

Check out all these moves! All three of these pictures describe three fluff classes that I must pass to graduate. It's been an interesting experience so far. I'm not allowed to do a lot of the moves we've learned. I'd definitely like to learn how to do picture #2 to my Senior Seminar professor!

Oh Baby

That's right, this lady is pregnant. I'm 11 weeks and feelin' it! The estimated due date we got from the doctor is May 25th. Everything is going well. Soda crackers are my new best friend and I've begun to wonder why everyone calls it "morning sickness". Unless by morning they mean all the time. :) We are both really excited and can't wait to find out whether it's a boy or a girl. I'm also open for any advice people have to share on the subject of pregnancy, baby care, etc. We've got a lot to learn!
