I'm Wishing

Simon was given a potty for Christmas. He thinks it's the greatest chair in the world. :)

He picked out a potty book at the library the other day, and now he wants to be like the little boy in the book. He'll tell me he wants to go potty, and we'll have him sit on it. Surprisingly we've had a few successes! It seems like he really wants to do it, but I'm a little worried that he doesn't quite have the coordination for it all yet. I guess if he really wants to accomplish it I'll help him out! Goodness knows I would LOVE for him to be out of diapers. :)

Christmas and New Years

Here are a few pictures from Christmas and New Years. Sorry if a lot of them are blurry. Our camera decided to start it's demise just in time for the holidays.
The 23rd we went out with some of my family to see the lights on Temple square. It was Simon's first time and he thought it was pretty awesome.

We opened presents early Christmas Eve since we had plans later and wanted Simon to be awake for his presents.



We had dinner at my parent's house on Christmas Eve. The kids put on a nativity program. Simon made a great shepherd.


Christmas morning was a success. Simon was so used to the present idea by this point that each morning he still wakes up and asks for presents. Luckily any of his toys counts as a present to him.


We went up to the cabin for New Years.
Here's us in our pajamas made by Mumsie. We wore them on Christmas Eve too, but I didn't get a picture then.

This is a present from Simon to Mumsy and Gus. Simon loves stories so much we thought he might like to share one with his grandparents. Merry Christmas!
